Slope (m) = 2, Y-intercept (b) = 3

y = 2x +3
1. Understanding Slope

What is Slope?

Slope (m) measures the steepness of a line. It represents the rate of change: how much y changes per unit change in x.

Formula: m = (y₂ - y₁) / (x₂ - x₁)

Given two points (x₁, y₁) and (x₂, y₂), calculate the slope.

Example: Find slope between (2, 5) and (4, 11)

Step 1: Identify points: (2, 5) and (4, 11)

Step 2: Apply formula: m = (11 - 5) / (4 - 2)

Step 3: Calculate: m = 6 / 2 = 3

Answer: Slope = 3
